Sadhana Class in India
Sadhana is a Sanskrit word which translates as “a means of accomplishing something.” It is the discipline of routine spiritual practice and the surrender of the ego through activities such as meditation, breathing, yoga, chanting or prayer. Sadhana is the ritual practice of connecting with the Divine in order to achieve power over the ego.
Surrendering the ego to achieve peace and spiritual discipline of the self is an important principle within the practice. Maintaining a Sadhana allows the student to align with one’s inner self each day by directing the attention inwardly the student can get to know and feel the subtle energy’s within the body and learn how to manipulate and move them.
